With wetcasting, you can:

  • Use the same machinery for a wide range of products
  • Produce small volumes with efficiency

Definition Wetcasting refers to casting with a high water/cement ratio.

Description In wetcasting, reinforcement is placed inside the molds before casting and, depending on the purpose, prestressing is completed either against stressing abutments or against the mold itself. Bond plates, sleeves and recesses can also be placed before casting. The wet concrete is cast by a casting machine and suitable outlet into the mold, with vibration during or after this step. It is also possible to use self-compacting concrete SCC, which effectively removes the need for vibration.
