Slipformer process
Slipformer or extruder, or both?
Both the slipformer and extruder are used
for hollow-core slabs with a wide-variety of
cross-sections and either round or shaped
voids. But with a sliformer, you have the
option for thinner slabs and can also easily
change to the manufacture of other products,
e.g. hollow-core wall panels, T-beams or
even vineyard posts.
Description
Elematic slipformers have the key advantage that they are modular in construction with a minimum amount of wear and spare parts. This means that you can alter specifications, e.g. hollow-core slab thickness, with just a few adjustments, while benefiting from less need for maintenance and smooth operations over the longer term. The casting and feeding units, too, are easy to customize - making for shorter delivery times and better profitability.Related pages
